Known in medical world as cardiovascular
disease, conditions that include diseased vessels, structural problems and
blood clots are called heart disease.
The most common types of heart diseases
are, Coronary heart disease which includes damage or disease in the
heart’s major blood vessels. Then comes High blood pressure(hypertension), a
condition in which the force of the blood is very high against the artery
walls. Usually the blood pressure above 140/90 is considered high blood
pressure and 180/120 is considered severe.
Cardiac arrest is most
threatening form of heart disease in which the heart stops beating abruptly.
Without prompt medical intervention the patient can risk loss of their lives.
There are many early symptoms of heart
diseases. A sudden discomfort in chest is one of the most common signs of heart
being in risk. The pain usually rises towards the left side of body where heart
is. Some of the people experience Nausea, Indigestion, Heartburn and stomach
pain during heart diseases. A rising pain that spreads towards the left arm
resulting in it getting numb also signals heart in trouble. Feeling dizzy or
lightheaded or having pain in throat or jaw also sometimes indicates heart
diseases.
Human heart is one of the most important
part because it pumps blood around the body which results in oxygen and
nutrients being delivered to cells and waste products being removed. Regular
exercises, walking daily and keeping a check on food habits are few common
things a person can do keep its heart healthy.
